Army Combat Uniform (ACU) is a contemporary U.S. Army battle uniform consisting of combat shirt and cargo trousers, introduced in the early 2000s. A successor of both the well-known Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) and Desert Camouflage Uniform (DCU), it features numerous notable design changes. ACU shirt comes with a mandarin collar and zippered front closure hidden behind a hook-and-loop flap. It also has slanted chest and sleeve pockets, cuffs adjustable with hook-and-loop, hook-and-loop elbow pockets for padding, a 3-slot pen pocket on the left arm and loop panels to attach name tapes, rank insignia, morale patches and tabs. ACU trousers have two thigh pockets, tilted forward for easy access, with hook-and-loop flaps and elastic drawstring to secure contents when on the move, one calf pocket on each leg with a hook-and-loop flap, as well as hook-and-loop knee pad pockets. All these characteristics can be found in ACU combat shirt and cargos made by MFH which are now available at Military 1st online store. What is more, classic Czech Woodland camo provides excellent concealment in most forest environments.
