Developed in Sweden in the late 1960s, the Swedish M90 camouflage, known among Swedish soldiers as lövhögen, or "the leaf pile", is a characteristic military camo pattern consisting of hard-lined geometric shapes. The M90 pattern has dark green, dark olive green, and moss green splinter shapes on a khaki background and was created to be effective in Sweden's temperate forests and plains.
